Actuall she calls me a nerd all the time.

Think the point was more to do with "IT Engineering" being a valid term.

We actually engineer alot of different thing

An engineer is someone who practices the engineering profession; a professional practitioner of engineering; someone who uses scientific knowledge to solve practical problems and produce goods for society.

IT engineering? What do you engineer?

Ask him how many IT 'architects' they have at his IT 'engineering' company.

engineering is more than just building a bridge so get over it!!!!!

Jeeez. How did that one go down? "Hey darling, they're picking on me on the Turbo forum. Can you post something and stick up for me please?" :spoton:

Just kidding. :tease:

And yes, I've heard of software and network engineering, but never heard "IT engineering" - that one certainly was new.

Hello everyone!

Long time reader first time poster and I love the place, it's far more humorous than alot of other forums, but anyway...

I fix helicopters in the Australian Navy and been doing that for about 11 years now.

Unfortunately I don't have the turbo. I'm forced to spend my driving time peering over the glorious bonnet bulge of a BA XR8, but that doesn't matter does it?

:spoton:

Welcome to the Club DW what SQN you at.

Strangely Tross has a lot more XR8s than T's, Keep an eye out for the rapid xr6 with the bobtail that would be me :tease:

Exactly the retractable cup holder is a vital part of any system.

IT Engineer is a general term covering Software , hardware and network engineering.

IT has always been a bit of a buzz word - engineer isn't. The two just look wrong together.

Anyways, I'm an IT geek as well... in the

He will get a nasty surprise when he tries to take on this XR6, as all he will be eating is rubber and dust.
