From Gordonvale (Sth of Cairns) to Malanda. The road is a massive series of left right bends with at least 130 consecutive left rights and progably over 200 altogether.Great fun if you try to not cross the lines and no real need to exceed the limit.???Up or down are both fun and challenging.Done it many times in ordinary stuff but can't wait to send the T up and back.Anyone else know this bit of bituman?Mackthknife

Guest bat Guests Posted 28/05/03 04:00 AM Share Posted 28/05/03 04:00 AM macktheknife .. that's one mean drive! Not much fun if your passengers get car sick though, and a real go-slow when it's wet, as you obviously would know.. but beautiful scenic views, swimming holes at the bottom, AND a great pub as well!Betcha can't wait to drive your T up & down!! It's even more fun on a bike!

Guest Mac_Dude Guests Posted 10/06/03 10:50 PM Share Posted 10/06/03 10:50 PM Name : PeterAge : 41 :nugget: Job : IT Solution Architect (20 years in IT, another geek...)Wife, 2 kids and a Jack Russell Terrier so I've got the Aussie average of 2.6 kids I've never been a petrol head but I assume I'm having an early mid-life crisis. I've always had company cars (falcon or commodore) apart from 3 years where I leased a Mazda 626 with the MX-6 V6 engine. A nice little motor. Traded the wife's Nissan Patrol 18 Months ago on another Mazda (SP20) as we had finished with the 4WD phase. Now my AUII is going and I have to replace it myself. I was looking at the WRX but it's a wee bit small, so I started looking at the commodore & falcon again.I have to admit BOTH current family cars are way above what they used to be in every aspect. so it's XR6 time...
