I did and haven't looked back. Previous mob I was with, I'd easily do 45-50 hours a week. Now I hardly break 38hrs/wk. I have to love what I'm doing in order to do it and won't do it otherwise. My job as a Senior Software Engineer is fun. I get to play with the latest applications technology and other cool hardware like PLCs.
