Lowering Your Ute

XRPhantom: yes, I cannot put 18's on my car legally, because my tyre placard says rear tyres must be rated to a total of 1700kg, or 850kg each, and no tyres in 18" fitment are rated that high.

so on any 'sports' suspensioned ute, 18"s are fine, but not on a ute with the one tonne rating.

which brings me to Phantom T utes reply, upon clicking his clicky, I got taken to the Scorpion Zero ASIM fitment page. only 18"s they have are 285/30 which means I would need fairly wide rims... altho it does show they make 255/50 and 265/45 in 19" fitment ;)

pity they are probably very expensive, and I think I will go through more tyres on the back than the front.

Hey guys, does anyone know the the v8 brute utes use for their suspension on all four corners. I'm going to upgrade my T to full racing suspension, but I can't find anything setup for circuit racing or tarmac rally application. I think I might need to have a single leaf spring made to my own specs. Can anyone help me?
