I just disposed of a series 1 VT SS commode door..... didnt even give the ole' lemon a backwards glance when I drove away. You cant compare the two for handling, comfort and power. I desperately wanted to upgrade to the new SS , and drove a few demos, but couldnt see the value in upgrading, but two seconds in the demo turbo, and I was hooked. Havent regreted the decision at all, and absolutely no problems with the car, with 4200 K on it. GO FOR IT !!!!!!!!!

Seems alot of people are happy. I had an imperfection in my dash and a scratched spare wheel. No other probs and my car was a early nov build. Is getting better everytime I drive it. And as for the brake prob, I find that if you slam them on over and over again when the discs are fresh until there just aint no stoppin anymore ( in a safe and controlled enviroment ofcourse ) then they bed in a treat with not a hint of DTV. No shudder here! I wont tell you to buy the Turbo but I'll wait here until you do. Just test drive it, hammer it try and see what it can do for a big Aussie slugger, and I think you'll join the blue oval. Best of luck with your choice. :buttrock:

I've had my turbo for a week and a half; have just under 1000ks on it, and so far couldn't be happier. Not a single problem with any aspect of the car (touch wood :werd: ). Whether I will be able to say the same thing at 10,000ks is another story, but going by my impressions of the build quality and performance of the car so far it's all looking good.

Little problems aside.... (except brakes)

Come from an AU XR8 200kW, and this car is muuuuuuuuuch better.

Real road, it drives smoother, sure a little less "out of the hole" power (similar power spread to like my brothers 5.7 SS, but strong mid and top end)

On the Track, is where you notice the big differences, the handling is GREAT!!!. The balance is a big improvement to any V8 I've driven, you don't get that annoying understeer you have with the V8's

Hope these comments help....

I want one!

I've pulled a few to bits and had a few good drives and I think its the "King of the hill" at the moment.

I even had the pleasure of making a rice boy turbo driver cry the other day. He thought is was a standard falcon!.. :alien: .. :oooh:

That little turbo badge is just.....right

Although, how did the riceie get the standard Falcon and the XR mixed up

Must be the eyes are too squinted up from stroking the rod too much :D :D
