There are a few little problems but nothing compares to the great fun of playing with the performance, the joy of filling that gap in traffic, the power is there , anytime, in any gear.

Boy..... it does put a smile on this face :D

and I want to know if it is naughty to turn the traction control off

on wet days for little bits of fun

A great car......built to enjoy!!!

Just passed 2,600kms on the weekend and the grin on my face is still as big as the day I picked the car up :D Thumbs up all around, from the people that speed up to have a look, to the select few friends that I have permitted to have a (short) drive

No major problems to speak of, although the number of idiots that feel the need to tailgate me in their ricer mobiles is getting a bit annoying :cussing:

As others have said, get rid of the Expensive Daewoo and get yourself a Turbo man! As a previous Expensive Daewoo driver and now Turbo owner, I can confidently say that it will take something pretty special for me to go back.

Just over 5500km's here and on a couple of minor issues. So minor they took all of 15 mins to sort out at the service dept. My experience is limited, but it has got to be one of the Best cars I have driven. And I keep wanting to drive it again and again and again....

Got to say VERY HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY. :D :D :D :D

I am extremely happy with mine. Only 3k on the clock so far, it's in for the 3k checkover today. There are a couple of little things getting looked at, but they are all minor, and very fixable.

I came from an AU2 XR6 ute, and the new ute is a quantum leap from the old one. I cannot believe how much better they could make a vehicle that has essentially the same chassie(sp?) as the last model.

Before I ordered it, I drove just about every ute available on the new car market. Although I didn't get a drive in a VY ute, the BA XR6t far outstripped the VU SS, particularly the road dynamics. Interesting when you consider that I was comparing a leaf spring solid axle to a semi-trailing independent rear suspension.

I have no great allegience to any car maker, and would have gone a Holden, or whatever, in the blink of an eye if I thought it was a better car for me. I just think Ford hit the nail on the head this time.

As I have never owned a Oil Burner/Piston Slapper :D I can't compare......but this is by far the best car I have ever owned. Quick, sticks to the road like $hit to a blanket, finish is great (and I am fussy!). No major problems except the petrol gauge goes to the left too fast :D and a whistle from the top of the windscreen :repost:

Previous rides Toyota Supra, EA 'S', EL XR6.

GET THE TURBO!!!!!!

1800 ks now on the car after a long wait for delivery.

Could not be happier, great car. no..fantastic car.

I too read all the issues ....but if you read carefuly you find many of them were with early deliveries and in some cases before dealer pre delivery was up to speed on the new models.

The minor issues I have had have been rectified without a problem. and are typical of any new car I have had over the years.

You will not regret your choice.

1500 kms on the clock, so early days yet but nothing to complain about so far. Now, if Ford Customer Service could only match it .....

My XR6 T has done about 1000 k's, so it's a bit early to report back with any problems because, there are none. I've got a mate with a V8 VT Berlina, and it's been riddled with problems from the day he's had it. I've driven his car a few times and the XR6 T walks all over it!

After owning a V8 Commodore, you won't know what hit you!
