I got my copy of GT4 the other day and saved some cash for a Typhoon. Does anyone else think they skimped on the engine noises in this game? The Typhoon sounds like a Honda S2000 with an exhaust on it and the FPV GT does not sound anything like a V8! Besides that its a great game, but jeez I thought they would have made a lot more effort in the sound department!

Engine noises have always been a down point on the GT series. Glad you are enjoying the game. I am 54% complete now and still lovin it.

yeah they made the FPV GT sounds like a lawnmower. not very happy about that.

I'm still tweaking the Ford GT 05, what an animal.

How you going with the licenses? I got four more tests for the S license, I dont think I`ll be passing them anytime soon!

Great game though! :o

I think the fact that the Typhoon wasn't released while the game was being designed was proberbly the reason for it.

The GT and the Phoon are only a five speed in manual too. If you buy the fully custom box you get six gears though.

I am having trouble making the Typhoon turn it though, I have adjusted camber as much as I dare as well as a few other options.

It is an understeering pig standard, has anyone else had any better results and what settings have you used?

my F6 is fully moded and the thing goes pretty good was doing around 10.8 down the 1/4 and on the track it is not the best round the corners but has got the power to make up for that

if you want to remove the understeer, change the driving aids. I have the oversteer set to 0 and understeer set to 1. Traction usually 0 or 1.

If anyone is after quick cash, go into special conditions section and do the 2nd race. There are only 2 events that take 5 mins to do, but you ket a $250k car to sell.

You can keep doing it again and again. :spoton:

My fav car is a 350z with about $200k spent on it. handles like its on rails and will do a flat 10sec 1/4 :o

If you like the GT series then yes.

It is a great game, but it is very similar to GT3.

I just hope they bring back Red Rock racetrack, I have not found it yet

Love the GT series but sometimes the gaming evolution goes backwards. eg Flight simulator 2004 is a backwards step to 2002..

Looks like I'm going shoppping :spoton:
