In anyone's language, this must be on the happy side of 500+ horsepower at the flywheel! Accurate flywheel figures will be made available in the near future after comprehensive engine dynamometer testing. Note also that the torque curve has been precisely tuned to be sympathetic to the standard drivetrain.Absolutely Awesome

cdm Member 886 Member For: 22y 3m 23d Posted 30/05/03 01:05 AM Share Posted 30/05/03 01:05 AM Drooooool.......What about getting all that grunt into speed though? I rekon a person would need a pretty good launch technique to get away from the line quickly without too much wheel spin. I remember seeing a DVD where I think it was 200sx's that had about 250kw weren't heaps quicker than standard because of traction. They were quicker, but not what you would expect from another 90kw or so.
Cobra potty trained Lifetime Members 1,938 Member For: 21y 9m 9d Gender: Male Posted 30/05/03 01:51 AM Share Posted 30/05/03 01:51 AM people start using slicks and whatever else they can find to get it to hook up .... B) but then the trannies, the half shafts, the "something" start to go pop I tend to "waste" my clutch ... feather the hook in ... :D in the auto .. just stall it at about 2000, let go and turn up the volume .... loudness pedal is on the right

Do the numbers equate to Nm, allowing for a factor of Ten, and therefore the car is developing 750Nm of torque?
