The filters will be k&n or bmc.Ive been told that pod is better flowing than panel but I dont know if this applies to the T airbox. Im predicting its gonna take some effort to mate it up to the pipe in the lid and angle it correctly so it fits in the base. And yes, Im planning to add a 2nd CAI hose under the headlight. So what does everyone reckon? Is it worth the effort? My other idea is a stealth pod filter setup where a hole is cut through the bottom of the airbox and the ajoining sheetmetal and a pod filter (ala Geea style) is added. The airbox itself will house only a connecting pipe from the airbox lid down to the pod. I know the washer bottle is in the way but there still should be enough room with a bit of effort. What do you think of this one?Regards,Max Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/16276-panel-or-pod-air-filter-in-standard-airbox/ Share on other sites

Posted 10/03/05 01:21 PM Share Posted 10/03/05 01:21 PM In my opinion you're better off with a 2nd CAI and a BMC or a K&N panel filter. If you want what I think is the best option you could do something like this. This was done by HPF but alot of places would be able to do similar.Geea. Guest mercurysteve Guests Posted 10/03/05 10:20 PM Share Posted 10/03/05 10:20 PM WTF! Those cold air mods are crazy guys, serious stuff What's it worth to get either Craig or Macka's setup? Is it a bit overkill for those of us with few mods and noplans for major mods or is it a goer regardless?
