Dan K: It sounds like the dyno run was far from standard setup, you're car only has 6400ks on it so it will open up more as well when you get it up over the 15K mark.

If you're really concerned contact one of the tuner houses close to your area on these forums and get it run again. :ermm:

I ran my Old ED Fairmont on an analogue dyno once. My car had extractors and exhaust, 98 fuel, advanced timing and a 3.45 diff, It could match and sometimes beet 185 clubbies from teh VR and VS variety and it only made 90rwkws and in comparison other 4.0 SOHC were making 130 with the same mods.

Mine certainly felt fine, and proved itself among the 5.0 V8s.

Now I have a turbo and my first run was on a dynodynamics dyno and 195.2 was what the BA made compared to 185 for most other stockers so go figure.

Well you can go get the mods done whenever you want it may be slightly restricted though as the engine isn't fully loosened up... it's more of a feel, but I definately had more punch through out the entire rev range when I got to around the 15K mark

Go mod the beast... make me jealous... :D

PS - I can't wait for this goddamn house to be finished building then I'll spare up some $$$ and go a little nutso! :w00t2::msm::blush:

Farkit....

Just get the edit and dyno again on a cold day...

Over 30 degrees mine feels like a taxi on gas running folks to an overeaters anonymous convention...........

Over 30 degress and humid conditions make for thinner air. I think someone mentioned rockhampton and you should be use to humid days. A turbo requires lots of air and so does the motor. I think you starved it of oxygen. Remember on these Dyno runs the cars are just sitting there and not getting regular cool air through the front as is the case when your driving the damn thing along the roadway.

Someone should make a wind tunnel with a dyno in it.... Then pump pure oxygen through the tunnel!

Too far out there? NOOOooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!!

:D
