Lets hope that the car jacking  :pooh: doesn't take off like it has in South Africa. There are areas where you stop at lights at your own risk :ermm:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Apparently over there, police recommend that at night people should treat red lights as stop signs only!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Car Jackers should be shot in the face on sight, no pleading, or reasoning, just shot in the face.

Im happy to do it if the the Courts ever get enough nuts to stand up and protect victims instead of the scum that create this mess, Shoot them in the face, point blank.

Well I guess there's one positive from that. People won't try car jacking? :ermm:

Yes I had my cortina stolen from me and all I could do is watch it drive away... Problem was I lived on a houseboat out on a swing moring in the middle of the Gold Coast broadwater, I awoke to the slamming of my bonnet cause my only security I had was taking out the rotor button, which these kind blokes brung their own rotor button.

So off the car went without me stopping them cuase it would of taken 3 minutes to swim back in or 3 mins to row back in..

But got the car back three days later with no stereo, wheels, battery, carby, headlights or fuel tank...

had my vl turbo stolen 3 times. Lost the wheels x 2 stereo x2 steering wheel x 1 and the p..ks tried to remove the motec and the twin cam head x 1. Had to buy sat tracking system. The best inverstment was a "full metal jacket" ignition cover, they got in ok but couldnt jimmy the ignition. The last time it was stolen the police ordered me to take it to main roads for inspection as it walked all over a vr highway pursuit car (at over 240k/hr)and they believed it was illegal (na it's stock the ap rotors are for show ha ha). I changed my wheels to 17'' pursuit rimes off of a lada (had the ctrs re done) and the twin 3" exhaust dumped at the diff (with a stock rear muffler for show)so it looked reasonable stock and never had a problem after. Also had a SV5000 attempted to be stolen from my garage, the idots had the loudest 4cly car ever and left it ideling outside, so I went down the back stairs went past the garage to there car and took the keys out, they then ran outside to find out what happened to their car and found an upset owner with an alleged baseball bat (used to play at state level) they both then proceded to fall down repeatedly untill the police came. I asked the police if the escort was theres and not stolen. He told me it was the smaller guys, all there complaints about baseball bats, me stealing all of there cd's from thier car and me opening ther wallets an removing all there money tended to fall on deaf ears. The best way to treat a thief is to beat them and steal from them and when you open there wallets write down all of ther contact details (check in with them every now and then) cause they know where you live. (evens the score somewhat)

turtle33, that is very un-Australian. You should have used a cricket bat!!!

Seriously though, good to see some real crims getting what they deserve.
