any comments on:

A) Marcos' pit infringement

B) Skaife 'punting' Ingall off

C) The whole event

I may as well start

A) Nothing to really say, there was traffic, he tried to get into the traffic lane, not sure if his pit crew told him to go or not, but I guess wacking into Todd warranted his black flag, after all, you can get a black flag for letting a wheel nut roll outside of your designated area.

B) Tough one, no question, Skaife's car bumped Ingall off the track. The pit entry probably did not help matters, I doubt Skaife did it on purpose, why would he?! Black flag warranted though, not Ingall's fault either.

C) I enjoyed the new track. With the addition of chine, it means Aus loses an event, matters not to me, I don't go to the track anyway. Fast track, awesome facilities, so I give it a thumbs up

I agree with you on those points crisso - good weekend for the red guys eh?

I felt for Ambrose as he didn't want to pit at all - he had the fastest car on the track at that time and he wanted some clear road in front of him so as to capitalise. If he'd been allowed to stay out he could have effectively "passed" the guys on the track before having to pit - the debacle on pit exit wouldn't have been an issue. Also, if Ingall had been called in instead, the Skaife incident wouldn't have occured. Oh, hindsight ain't it wonderful!! I really think that enforced pitstop cost Ambrose the race.

Ambrose remains about 80 points clear of Ingall and Richo 10 back in third. Nice close contest, and with the variety of different winners at each round it is shaping to be one of the most interesting championships ever.

Very impressive track too! ...

Thanks Falchoon,

Hope Ambrose and Lowndes get up. I'll be there tomorrow. Will be a great day. The weather is terrific up here right now. Goo-ooo Ford!

Just got back from the track at Hidden Valley. AAAAhhh, total disaster for Ford. Ambrose was doing well in the 2nd round but skidded off the track. He didn't seem to recover after that. The cheering from the Expensive Daewoo guys when he did that was awful! What an uncivilised bunch of people! :gooff: Lucky there are Ford owners in this world.
