2 888 Team Betta Electrical Craig Lowndes Ford Falcon BA

So Lowndes got second today?

yeah dude, after being turned around at corner 1 and relegated to virtually the rear of the pack.

Was listening today about who will fill the void when marcos leaves, and Rick Kelly's name was mentioned as he only has a 1 year contract with the team he is in at the moment.

If we all start protesting now we might be able to stop it, "Cant drive Kelly" in an SBR Falcon, not fuggen way.

Marcos did it fairly easily, but credit where credit's due, SBR are going to prove a tough challenge in 2005.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Fairly easy is an understatement. If it was'nt for all the safety cars especially in the second race he would have bloody near lapped everyone. Maybe that's the Kelly Bros idea. If they create enough carnage and keep bringing out safety cars at least Marcus does'nt drive of into the distance as should have happen.

Marcus seems more committed to go out on top and a winner this year than the past two that he's won. It's hard to beat a man on a mission. Would be the best way to go to the States.

I loved Murphy's comments when he said he could'nt get over how easy Marcus and the Pirtek falcon were doing it.

"It looks so easy it's almost boring" or words to that effect :spoton:

It did'nt take him to long to start cleaning up the best Australia had to offer once Ford gave him the equipment.

I would expect him to do the same to the Yanks.

Take the piss and wind out of them and your not left with much. :spoton:

I dunno, Nascar is a whole other ball game, which I dount he will be successful in for a few years, Nascar is very claustrophobic *spelling* and he isnt used to that in V8's, you cant do a Todd and give someone a gentle love tap at 200MPH, theres the differences in aerodynamics he hasnt experienced yet, its gonna be a challenge for him that's for sure.

He must have done pretty good at his trials earlier in the year. To convince him to give it a shot :spit::spit:

His times and learning how to set the cars up must have impressed Ford USA to bring him over and have ago. :spit:

He's a smart racer it won't take him long to get handle IMOP.
