I found that the phone presenter was positioned to close to me therefore didn't bother paying an extra $30 to have it.

Instead I just had mine put next to the ICC as shown above, works great and you can have it on either side depending how long your left arm is.. :ermm:

I actually liked it... sure it's a little "flimsy", but it was there to perform it's function and was stowed away nicely into the centre console when not needed.

As for now, well I no longer use mine since I got my iPAQ h6365. It sits on the dash between the ICC and instrument display with the help of some velcro. Great location for SatNav! :ermm:

I've got a phone bracket that needs no holes , doesn't need panels to be pulled of and it sits at eye level. It is a CLICON brand and slides between the gaps on the right of the ICC and the left of the instument cluster very easy and quik to install

costs about 35 bucks

Can you show me a piccy? I got a Imate JAM PDA phone and am going to get GPS software and a Bluetooth antennae but am unsure of where to mount the I-mate's cradle.

I don't use a cradle, as I hate drilling into my dash. I just use some velcro to hold it in place and plug in the Auto Charger into the ciggie lighter whenever I need the juice.

For pics, go visit "My Garage" and check out the mods for:

- HP iPAQ Pocket PC h6365

- Blueant Talkpad Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit

- Navman GPS4410 Bluetooth Receiver

Have fun! :violin:

That's the only downside, you get out of the car and you answer a call thinking that you'll use it like a normal handset - but no, the stereo fires up and the conversation is happening 5 metres away in the cabin.
