My kind and loveing wife has given me the go ahead to get me a XR6 Turbo ute.

The only drama is we have one son left at home and we need to fit the three of us in the ute..

Does any one out there know if Ford are developing a twin cab or any way to have three people in a XR6 Turbo ute.

Me thinks she allready has it worked out, you know giveing me the go ahead knowing it cant be done..

Thanks guys

War&Peace :crybaby:

Hey if it's the difference between getting one, and not getting one, I'd throw in a bench seat out of an earlier model, with a fold down centre arm rest ! Sure you'd have to cut the centre console to fit properly (Or remove it altogether) but it's not a bad compromise.

Or put in the dicky seat thing out of an early model falcon (Narrow padded seat the folds up/down) I have a mate with an AU XR8 that has done this to transport around his son and wife at the same time (Without tying the wife up and throwing her under the tarp !) :crybaby::spoton:

But if Ford were to release a 4-Door (Twincab) turbo Ute I'd buy one yesterday !

I know the F Series are available, but by the time they are optioned up they cost shiploads ! But would be my choice if I won Tattslotto (Note to self..... Need to buy tickets to have any chance of winning tattslotto)

Pretty sure Ford have no plans for twin cab Falcon ute though they did do a prototype a few years ago.

The only other alternative if you want a performance twin-cab ute is to buy a Late model camira SS Crewman.

If Ford did sh*t instead of just teased for all those years, that Twincab would have had it in spades over the crappydore, and that was about three years ago!!!

Rear doors were suicide jobs from memory, one of the best looking AU' s I've ever seen.
