blackwrx Member 181 Member For: 19y 9m 23d Posted 06/03/05 11:12 AM Author Share Posted 06/03/05 11:12 AM (edited) that's what I thought $2028 per month, the statutory fraction was calculated at 20%. Edited 06/03/05 11:16 AM by blackwrx

OwnaXR6T Member 1,519 Member For: 22y 13d Location: Sydney Australia Posted 06/03/05 09:28 PM Share Posted 06/03/05 09:28 PM I was on the Mercedes web site last night and checked out what a CLK500 would cost per month. Well with $30000 desposit and 45% residual on a $150000 car came to $1760 per month. So something is terribly wrong when a Ford Falcon costs more that a Merc. I lease through SMB as part of my employment package (so we're talkign playing with pre and post tax $$ etc) but The only way I found I could make sense out of their numbers was to get a RRP for the vehicle, then compare that to everything they list.I found for example their insurance allowance (if you arranged insurance with them and not just had them pay another company) was about $300p/a high. How many kms a year are you looking at running up?Also consider ditching it within 3 yerars as the moment you go outside of the warranty period the numbers start a pretty steep incline. A.
