70% of XR6Ts are autos  :w00t2:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Which says nothing about manuals - it simply shows 70% of drivers are lazy...

The same 70% applies to HSV cars. It isnt anything to be proud of.

If you like to not be involved with your driving, and if you like maximum laziness in terms of required driver input, go an auto for sure.

If you drive hard, then you NEED a manual. If you dont drive hard, then an auto is an option.

I dont care how much power a person's car has - the choice of box says it all about their driving. (Top level drag cars with thousands of horsepower excluded).

Agree with you there.

My last few cars have all been auto. Current T as well.

However, no matter how good the auto, (and the current one is very good for my money) you cannot do as fine a throttle balancing job in corners as you can with a direct mechanical link.

Just that little bit makes the difference in the grin factor..... :w00t2:

But, because the Lady Macktheknife needs to drive it from time to time, I'm afraid I'm stuck with the SSS....... :crybaby:

Wow, you are the first auto driver I have seen here who can actually stand back, not get personal because they happen to have an auto, and be realistic about things.

Good one...that's too rare here.
