Hey Brian,

Perhaps you could post something with an update on where you are with your car. Or have I missed it...?

Macka.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No you haven't missed it. Patience is required, as my rework (with 450-500rwkw) is substantial. I drive 3 other turbo cars during the week, so it isn't killing me. I'm content to watch the unfolding of events of other peoples' cars, and the development of the new edit.

Brian

Is that a 6 second reaction time? Did the driver fall asleep at the start?

Good job though, it's about time some old records were broken :)

Hi fraggle. I have contemplated tyring to organise a trip accross. I'm going to have to find a schedule for when the drags are on in Tassie. Then I'll have to talk Deano in to coming with me. Shouldn't be too hard. :glad:

Geea. :glad:

Congratulatiuons to Nizpro for an awesome effort!

That is just sensational.  We have a new fastest T.

I have a feeling the mph will move up atleast 4-5 by the end of the year and the ET drop to mid 10's.  Bring it on.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Things may change very quickly. You've also got a few privateers like Jeff and Adam, who'll post good times,as well as APS and RDP. Nizpro may put their 1200HP motor in the Ute. As usual, the key challenge remains in getting a transmission to hold together.

Their are a few of us chasing the numbers but that is very impressive time from Simon.. Well done Nizpro...

that's right, tonight Simon from Nizpro took the work ute out again after a few tweaks with the Edit, and peeled off a string of 11.1 second passes at over 130mph. The best being 130.9mph. Still on radial tyres, still on stock converter, still a daily driver with a Ford 4 speed auto transmission.

Awesome work, and great to see a 'T' into the 130s after all this time :)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I'd also like to add on a set of Nitto NT555R which I distribute..

Cheers,

Kris.
