Gents, great effort by Nizpro, but lets not get on the bagging band wagon. APS are still the quickest I believe atm, but Nizpro are the fastest as far as this thread goes.

Good work, and lets not turn yet another thread to :spoton:

I was speaking to Simon at the track and saw one of his earlier slips. 11.1@127.95mph with a 1.97 60'. He wasn't happy with the 60'. I'm ubing the same tyres and on the same night had 1.88, 1.90, 1.92, 1.95 60's. If Simon can get his 60' down he'll be in the 10's easy. I know how quick 122mph feels and what it's like pulling it up. 130 would be quite hair raising I think.

Well done to Simon, he was out there having a go and pulling vdery good numbers. :spoton:

Consistant. 11.76, 12.03 (missed the 1-2 change), 11.78, 11.80. Car was great just wasn't as cold as I would have liked. Give me a cold night in winter and the cars capable of an 11.3-11.4 I reckon. :spoton:

that's a excellent time for a full street trim and street tyres car, look at the VL's they only run 10's with slicks correct me if I am wrong, and the vl's weight way less.

We have been blessed with a 4LTR Turbo engine from ford and withing a year they were into the 10's, which took the vl 10yrs to get into the 10's this says alot about the Xr6 Turbo, defenately the best, that's why I just cant get enough of this. Considering the weight of the xr6 turbo we have very strong engines.

well done guys.

Thanks

That's a very good time, and from Gea's post, in colder conditions it should get even quicker! I'd like some more info on the ute, where abouts can I get it? I.e. an exhaustive list of what has been done to it. Is it running stock cam shafts? Stock exhaust manifold? If so, I'd love to see Nizpro get serious and look at these, then you'd probably looking at low tens/high nines given how restrictive the cams are, they're identical to the N/A aren't they? Amazing a car can pull these numbers with the same lift/duration of valve opening into the cylinder chanber IMO.

Keep up the good work, I'd love to see a hero car (I.e. an xr6t) running much closer to the limit to show everyone how good these things are (that don't already know!)

Great effort,

the bar has been rasied, lets see who will be first over,

I would like to see a list of mods etc done to this ute, and a weigh bridge ticket, just to show how fat the utes are.

Great job, keep us posted on the mods please.
