So have many ppl with F6's (or lucky BF's with strong bottom ends...) run into much trouble?

The old fashion rear end of the ute is also a lot better at holding power isn't it? ie. no weak CV's :mexicanwave:

SCRIBR I see you have some new cog changing equipment, hows that all going? Must have felt like a power upgrade now you can drive it properly.

I have 307rwkw. Im just glad to know the power is there. Lost my license (double demerits weekend  ) so im on the 2 points for a year deal with the RTA so I have to drive the XR6T like a *beep*. That should ensure reliability though.

No boosting it up, drive it off boost, no power through gear changes as im scared of my auto blowing to smithereens. I gotta keep my license.

I wont even take it to the track, its enough to know the power is there for the BBQ discussions, doesnt mean you gotta abuse it.

I've had my 2003 BA XR6T ute (310Rwkw with various mods)for over a year now (in which it has racked around 15,000 km's) but the only real problem I am having is the tailshaft, as It has a 6 puk brass button clutch and Malwood 6spd manual in it. I think the fact it has the brass button kind of sends all the stress down to the weakest point - which happens to be a rubber piece in the tailshaft which is pretty much split into pieces, costing around $3500 for a ford replacement.

Apart from that the power is fine, and I believe it had been running that kind of power for a while.

it think it has a lot to do with the tune, some cars will make 330-360rwkw with a stock motor while others will not even get close to 300rwkw, I know of one that threw a rod out and it only had 270rwkw.
