I know Nizpro and HPF are both highly respected tuners and I know both these guys are now EDIT speciallists :spoton:

Would just like to know in your guys opinions who's better - I know this might cause a :w00t2: fight up in hear but please lets keep it clean. I have decided EDIT is the way to go so I just want a Tuner to deliver a product that wont disapoint me.

Im in the middle of either tuner so which way I decide will come from the help of guys like JB, and GEEA.... who else can help???

cheers~Allen

All I will say is that I have dealt with 4 seperate tuners in Vic, and where my car is currently at would represent my thoughts on who is the best.

This is the first time I have used HPF, and they will now be the only ones I go back to for numerous reasons.

If you want a fastidious tuner who wants exactly what you want from your T because they have passion in what they do then...............

If you wish to discuss furtehr I.e the how's and why's give me a call.

Regards

I obvoiusly think that HPF are the better choice. I also think they are one of the better tuners in the country. My car is proof of this. Mine is the fastest customers BA Ford down the 1/4 in the country. This isn't because of me either, (even though I'd like to think it was). HPF have worked on my cars for nearly 2 years now and I'm very happy with the service and results.

How many quick customer cars have you seen from Nizpro. :spoton: I can't think of any. :w00t2:

HPF have many fast customers cars.

Geea.

JB

Mr Turbo

Blown BA

to name just 4. I know that there are others too, not sure of the names that go with them though.

Both are good tuners and will give you a great result. The best bet would be to speak to both and see who you have the best rapour with. Give HPF a ring and ask for Rob. He's a great bloke and very passionate about the cars he works on.

You could also send Street Tuna a PM and ask his thoughts as he deals with both tuners aswell.

Hope this helps.

OK I’ll put a word in for Simon, to balance the argument (NOTE: not to start a fight).

Simon’s been working on, tuning, rebuilding, racing and designing components for the BA Turbo for over 2 years, and knows the car intimately.

He’s built and tuned a Ford T motor to over 1200HP.

It has a steel crank, special cams, custom extractors, 1000+ cc injectors… huge R&D time.

He’s tuned the Ford T motor with Motec, XEDE, TSI, and now the Edit.

Many people may not realize that he’s a part owner of the DynoLogic dyno, and knows how to get the best out of the dyno to tune your car. I’ve spent a few hours watching him tune my car and other Ford T’s, and it’s certainly been far more impressive than what I’ve seen with other tuners over the past 23 years of having my turbo cars modified.

I’ve spoken to Simon at least 3 times a week over the past 5 months, and he’s kept me posted with ongoing great results of the Edit, of which he is currently extremely happy.

Simon is the only person I’ve entrusted my car to, even though I live in Sydney, and he’s building something very special for me.

Finally, Simon’s currently using the Edit in his own Ute, and as you’ve read over the past week, is getting excellent results with the new Edit, and has the fastest BA T with Edit in the country.

It’s the ONLY time I wish I lived in Melbourne.

Valid points as well Brian.

I think Craig's comment of ring them go and see them and see whom you feel you have good rapport with is vaild. At the end of the day it also comes down to customer service and who you feeling comfortable with. That's why it comes down to an individuals personal choice. :w00t2:

Rajab Racing Also has edit (9357 7587)

They also have some of the fastest turbo cars in australia with street driven vl's that run low 9's

Unlike most other tuners they are all about drag racing and they have many records and runs on the board when it comes to that

My car should hit the track at the end of this month and im sure it will rearrange the record's board

So if "they are all about drag racing and they have many records and runs on the board when it comes to that" what does that say for them setting up a good street cruiser? Most people get their cars tuned for their own enjoyment, which means midrange driveability etc.. I'd say any tuner can set up for WOT for a quarter mile run. Then it comes down to spending the money to put in all the go fast goodies !

Ask Geea, JB etc.. it's the off WOT that makes a car feel good or not !

Yeah of course people are going to give them a squirt now and then, but I'd sacrifice Quarter mile time for driveability, and mid-rage any day !

Of course I'm not saying the two have to be mutually exclusive, but someone focusing on a quick ET is not likely to spend a great deal on cruise setup are they ?
