Hi Trough Lolly,

Only the lower lip on the cooler side of the bumper support/crossmember as shown in the photos, which are taken from underneath. ASE said they would do a special price of $799 for 10 or more coolers for a group buy. I don't know how many are interested, but it's worth a thought.

Cheers,

Steve.

I received an email from ASE saying we can have them for $799 for 10+ coolers. ill see if we can get a price for 5 coolers, and HOPEFULLY if it hits 10 we get the larger discount.

How close does the intercooler sit in front of the raditor ? at the moment a auto trans cooler betwen the factory intercooler and raditor and dont want to have to relocate it. if it sits the same distance as the factory cooler and doesnt go any further back then its fine.

Looks the goods guys!

Just a question, Doesnt fitting a bigger cooler make the cars run REALLY lean with the extra air flow?

I thought installing an intercooler and retuning the ecu had to be done at the same time?? Otherwise it overboosts, Runs lean and constantly runs into limp mode?

I would think fitting a larger cooler would guarantee that the airflow temps entering the engine would always be constant temp like on a cold winter night and you would not have the performance hit with higher inlet temps I.e. heat soak. I think there is less pressure drop across this system compared to the stock unit which would lead to over boost, but if you already had the Edit I would expect the system target of say 10psi would be controlled. I plan to get mine fitted with a new exhaust and retuned at the same time to take advantage of the new components and maybe tuned to 12psi and no more then 300 RWKW

all coolers are behind that cross member... u can cut it out, if u dont value your wife and kids or insurance! :stirthepot:

The standard intercooler has a 25mm air gap between the cross member and the surface. This cooler looks very close.

Does this mean the cooler has no, or very little air space where the cross member is located?
