I have also fitted both boost (mechanical) & oil pressure (electrical) gauges to my T.  I used the Blitz BLM Racing Meters.

These gauges can be ordered through your local Autobarn store.

I used the SS Inductions dual gauge pod to house the Blitz gauges in. The sample pic is from the Blitz website. This is simply to show how they look when working as I don't currently have any pics of them installed in my car. As soon as I have pics I will post em so you can see.

The lighting on these gauges match up really well with the other dash lighting. Cost for these gauges is approx. $300 for mechanical boost and approx $350 for electronic oil pressure.

Howdy Stang,

Not trying to be smart here, but seriously, if you have concerns about your oil, save the $$ on the gauges and change the oil and filters every 5000k's. It'll do your T much more good than any pretty guages to look at. If you really do want the gauges "cauz they're cool" then get whatever guages you like, boost is pretty neat because the little needle goes up and down a lot.

Thanks Sixfan,

Truth to be said I love my gadgets, and I do change my oil every 5000k`s.

But I have an ss pod that I want to put in and I know I will put a boost gauge in, just want to know which is the better of the two. I really don`t think that bad a question.I`m sorry I also thought they were usefull tools. Admittedly most of the gadgets look good that I buy but they are also functional.

Hey stang, not having a go, re-read my post and it was a tad rude.....sorry , didn't mean to be. It's your car, I encourage you to do whatever you like with it! If I had to choose between Oil temp and Pressure guage, I'd go with the oil temp guage, this might be useful on track days for giving you a warning that the temp was reaching the point where the ECU goes into limp mode. (Happens all the time to the T's on the Track). Goldie sold me a great oil cooler + hoses...errr...I'm yet to put it on. Hey! It's only been a year..... :w00t2:

no offense was taken mate, as I said openly love my gadgets but like them to be functional as well. I heard from one guy that if your water temp is rising quickly is a good indicator your oil temp is getting high still confused a bit.

Damm I luv it when things are black and white.
