Oh this looks awesome. Crap, he gets airborn at about 6:48.... that's insane. That dude is an artist, that is what driving is all about. His heel toe downshifts were unbelievable as well, he did not miss a single one. Then again, he has a craft that will allow for near 'on demend high revs'. But still, it ain't easy getting it right every time like that with a grumpy high strung engine!

8 minutes around the ring is pretty damn quick as well. Nice one.

ps, I've done 100mb in just under a minute from gamearena. that's roughly 1.6mb/s (megaBYTES per second.... not megabits, some lans don't hit that speed). If your connection is good, your speed is determined by the sender.....

I understand that the lap record for Nurburgring for a road legal/registered car is 7 minutes 18 seconds set in late 2004 by a V6 Audi. That lap in the M3 took approx 8 minutes 15 seconds. My facts could be wrong but I would love to have seen that lap.

I have run about 50 or so laps of Nurburgring playing Grand Prix Legends in my 1969 Lotus. I have got to say it is the most difficult ciruit to run for several reasons, the main one being that it is so long, it takes a very long time to learn each corner and its characteristics. That and the fact that in GPL, the cars don't have any aero so at high speed, one wrong move and you are fcuked. Talk about stressful.

The driving skill shown in that video was a pleasure to watch, great stuff.
