Would like to have caught up with Kenny, the site legend, and the lass that tames him (SWMBO) , but am travelling to Melbourne for the Easter break.

Happy Easter to all, and drive safely......

There's a lot of interstate tourists who all drive like Kenny, making it hard to overtake safely ..... :)

OK, Easter Saturday 26 April, Meet at 3:00 pm for a 3:30 departure. Meet in the car park near Hungry Jacks. This is on South Road, Edwardstown about 1.5km south of Cross Road.

Cruise all the way down South Road to Cape Jervois. Then wherever we feel like at the time.

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll be there at Castle Plaza at 3pm on Saturday.

Just got a phone call from voy. Apparently Ken and Lea are running late and will be a no show for today's cruise. :w00t2:

Is anyone even going on this cruise  :w00t2:

I went there in case anyone turned up, but it looks like I was the only one.

Ouch Glenn .Very lonely and disappointing job but at least you made the effort.Apologies(notification of inability to attend )should be posted by all members if they can't make it.Its perhaps too easy to think that every one else is going and one less won't matter.Nevertheless Easter is a very busy time of the year and people are all over the place.

I believe cruise control will be adopting some new strategies to arrange successful outings so that the Ford Turbo faithful in SA continue to get together and enjoy each others company and vehicles.

We've had some great cruises in the past despite the ups and downs of the moods and trends on the forum.I can't remember a cruise I didn't enjoy.

Looking foward to hearing from Lee. :spoton:

Well ... what an excellent trip that was.

I didn't realise that SA had so much to offer. It's almost as pretty as Tassie, and that's saying something.

I'd like to thank Cain and Kate for putting up with us and showing us such a warm and friendly welcome. I think one of the highlights was crawling into bed with a still sleeping Cain early one morning .. :gooff:

Kate is a crack-up and I can't think of a better room-mate for Cain.

We spent a couple of days on Cain's parents farm and apart fromt he 20k of dirt there and back, it was a hoot. Appologies to Cain's dad for drinking all his red wine ... hey! he offered.

Another highlight happened on the farm. Long story short ... imagine a fellow forum member, up on a chair, squealing like a school girl because of a rather small, harmless spider ... no names, but the aforementioned member was a local. Just wish I'd taken a pic.

Our stay in Adelaide was way too short and although we made several trips up into the hills, the Barossa, Hahndorf (for Struuudel), Cape Jarvis, etc., we just didn't have enough time.

We'll definately be going back. In fact, I'd love to organise a cruise, possibly next year. I can just imagine 10, 15, 20 turbos all cruising around the Adelaide hills.

... so bring on Tassie, eh?

Oh, and I've attached a vid of SWMBO driving the harvester on the farm. What you don't see is the path of destruction she created through the chook house, the guest house and the out house. :spit:

Damn it! Won't attach ... oh well, I try it again later. :gooff:

Ken, I'd love to say it was a pleasure meeting you, but I'm trying to keep my new years resolution of saying what I really think, so ummm... It was great meeting SWMBO!

Seriously though, it was great meeting you two. Life is just so... different... now. Yeah, different, that's the word I'm looking for. By the way, you should receive the bill from my shrink any day now.

Umm, as I can't think of anything else to say, I'm just gonna leave it at that.

Oh, hi everyone else, I'm Kate, Cain's (aka Voy74656) house mate.
