Hi all,

Been lurking in the background on this forums for nearly 2n a half years now.

I bought a new MKII T, picked her up on thursday and its been an absolute delight so far :)

Man 6sp, premium brakes and sound. few other bits like scuff plates...

I'd like to get it lowered soon, maybe some bigger alloys. I'll see how I got over the next few months. I'll look at getting an EDIT when the dust settles and APS have something out so I can compare two distinctly different brands.

Being a 22 y/o, insurance is a real expensive exercise. 2700 p/a with RACV rating 2.

If your in the braeside / moorabbin area I might see you round.

Cheers!

Well done mate and welcome...

I know how the insurance is, im 21 and the ute is slightly more than a sedan but its worth it as you will grow to learn. I dont know about you but it took me at least a month to learn how to drive the turbo with best take off procedure etc. Have fun pulling from :censored: V8's

it feels a bit stupid welcoming you :w00t2: so I'll just say congrats on the car :censored: . I picked up my brand new xr6t (mandarin) last august. 23 years old and paying $2050 through NRMA. enjoy the car :w00t2:

Welcome Matt,

There are a few of us in the eastern suburbs area, I will be easier to pick than you, so if you see a white lowered modded T with a forum sicker on, pull me over we will have a chat, or come to Calder on a friday night or any cruise, you are most welcome :msm:
