There are lots of rich idiots as well, and they just keep making more money. It wasn't the kids fault they were braught up in poverty, always being told how they "deserved more" or "worth nothing" or continually shown on TV how all the rich prats live; they think this is reality for everyone else but themselves, when really this is only 5%. It isn't there fault how they were braught up, they didn't choose to be born, but it is still there choice whether to do the right thing or not.

Herein lies the problem, by the time they are old enough to make this choice, they have been brainwashed by poverty and oppression, to the point where they can't see a choice, and react instead of act. Another problem is, it gets worse as time goes on. The next generation from these families will have yet another story to tell about how they were treated. Always focussing on the negative, instead of focussing on a solution.

That’s the problem with society these days and it stinks of communism. Where is the incentive to succeed in life when the poor people you refer to have it all handed to them on a platter, while those that are moving forward spend more and more on helping the “less fortunate”?

Call me a heartless bas*ard but I have no compassion for these ghetto communities – get out there and make a life for yourselves. Don’t sit around feeling sorry and expecting the wider community to do so as well. And especially the good-for-nothing parents, if you are living in a community like that wouldn’t you be wanting the best for your kids and move on to greener pastures no matter how hard it may be?

It is sad that two kids have died that had their whole life ahead of them, but this is the message that needs to be drummed home – don’t think you can get away with doing what ever you want without respect for others and their property.

It's moments like these that you really can appreciate what a magnificent job the police force do, albeit with one hand tied behind their backs. I would hate to think how I would react in the same situation – there would be no riots as all the little disrespective fukers would be mowed down with whatever artillery I could get my hands on!

Well, I can't agree with u guy's more... if these little sh*ts steal someones car then crash it runnin from the cops, they deserve what they get... Sorry to all the do gooders out there, but imagine how you would feel if it was your pride an joy. I'm a Police Officer, and have read and live by the Pursuit Policy and the Urgent Duty Driving Policy, I see nothing wrong with the way the Officers acted in this instance. They have done their duty and as a result criminals have suffered. At least it wasn't left up to the courts to find them not guilty on some bullsh*t technicality and release them back onto the streets. I might sleep better now knowing my car is safe from these thieves.

People think that because their darling child pinches someones car and dies in it, the Police are suddenly responsible. Well I for one, won't be the one to call off a pursuit because sweetheart behind the wheel is driving a stolen car.

If I don't know who's driving, I'd like to find out... Perfect example from Darwin, just the other night... Police noticed a car driving down a suburban road at about 5am without headlights on... turned around, activated lights etc, vehicle failed to stop... car speeds into another suburban street, Police in pursuit, and stops near a park. The teenage driver jumps out and makes a run for it, officer pursues on foot and catches teenage punk soon after. Teen blows .196% on the breatho and checks reveal car was stolen 15 mins before pursuit....

Now, vehicle and owner are reunited, luckily no damage and teen punk is behind bars. (where he belongs)...

Now where would we be if Officer plod (a friend of mine) had called off the Traffic Apprehension because Teen Punk had failed to stop??? One person would be minus a car, if at some stage drunk Teen Punk had crashed into your mum, you'd be minus mum, and we'd all be worse off... Now old mate has his car back, no-one was killed or injured and everyone was happy (except punk)....

Bring back the old days when if you did something wrong at home or they found out your parents would kick up the ass.

If you played up at school the teacher would wack you with a duster and than send you to the head master's office and cop it again and than cop it whan you get home from a leather strap.

If a copper saw you doing something wrong they would give you a beating than take you home to let the leather strap take over again.

You soon learn that if you do something wrong it is going to hurt not now all you get is look where you come from we will let you off.

Lock those ba**teds up and the civil libartains and there lawer mates up with them.

All I can say is " I wished that cops made their operational rules and not politicians"

We as a community have the resources (Police) to be able to stop criminals quickly, but they are hobbled by having to operate to a very strict rulebook that unfortunatly does not often apply in the real world.

Be it high speed pursuits or riots, the Police cannot act in the BEST way to solve the problem quickly. Instead they need to refer to the manual and then do the "PC" thing that makes them look soft.

I feel very sorry for the Police and just thank them that they are there to protect us from these scum

Also just saw that women (the unnoficial grandmother of every petty crim piece of sh*t) on today tonight, she was blubbering becasue she was scared her friend or her boys as she put it were going to get shot dead, yet she was openly saying that they want revenge on the police (an eye for an ey) and pretty much endorsed what they were doing, for f*cks sake you dim witted old b**ch, if they respect you so much maybe you hold part of the key to ending this mess.

The death of Commonsense had its Genesis when Whitlam the Destroyer became Prime Minister.

I know some people won't like to hear it but quite frankly New South Wales has got the Police Force, Legal system and civil disobedience that it deserves! The electorate keeps returning these social engineers who call themselves the ALP.

The Wood Royal Commission absolutely gutted our job, removed many hard headed senior officers who would have had the guts to make sure that there was still a permanent TRG driving around supporting the GD's and the 3 days of rioting would have only been 3 hours!

The LAC at Mac Fields is an imbecile, as is many many other LAC's who are products of the Avery, Jarrett, Ryan school of academia.

There are a lot of bosses who are way out of their depth.

Fact: At Penrith LAC, out of 190 staff, there are only 15 with more than 15 years service and two of those (I'm one) work out on the road...all the others are in management roles. 67% of the remainder have less than 12 months service and the rest have between 3 to 5 years service.

The result of this pursuit and two deaths? The restrictions on pursuits will get even tighter. Any crook knows that all he has to do is punch a red light or cross the centre line for a pursuit to be terminated.

You can't deal with crime by being 'pink and fluffy' - being 'pink and fluffy' though keeps you from getting promoted.
