Those bean bag rounds that can be fired out of a 12 guage would have come in handy. Even if they hit you in the temple, theres only a 30% chance of death. If it hits you anywhere else, you will survive 99.9% of the time.

I agree with all that has been said too, I wonder how the "locals" would feel if the stolen car had hit and killed a pedestrian, maybe an inocent Kid on the footpath, would they still be hidding the identity of the driver then?

As far as im concerned, no one held a gun to thier heads to get in the stolen car, they are as much to blame as the guy driving, the up side is, THEY WILL NOT REPEAT OFFEND. maybe, just maybe it has got the message through to some of the younger kids there, but I doubt it, as they say, "rotton fruit dont fall far from the tree", or as I say "Scum breed Scum", have a look at the parents and look at what the kids aspire to, the parents should be flogged too.

I cant say I think Rubber bullets are agood Idea, to much chance of killing someone, maybe bean bags, they work well and dont kill as easy. the police should have doubled thuier numbetrs. surrounded the little pricks and arrested every one of them.

I just heard on the radio the driver was also involed in the rioting, I hope this guy gets a nice beating back at the cop shop.

The problem we are facing is not the kids, it's not their fault at all. It's the police officers fault for not letting them take the car for a gentle trip around the block. The police shouldn't chase them, they wouldn't run and everyone would be happy.

EXCEPT for the fact that these pieces of sh*t have absolutley no right to put ppls lives at risk by flogging around in a stolen car, endangering the lives of others...

There should be a licience brought in to have kids. Fail the test, and u get shot, so there's no chance of your demented offspring drowning in the gene pool..

There was a kid over here in the west smashed a stolen car over here a couple of years ago. There is a plaque at the site. There was a big ourtrage in his 'community' because the cops chased him. I looked at the plaque one day. The lil retard was 15 years old FFS......................

Again last week, stolen car ( wrong side of road ) hit a taxi, passenger in stolen car got trapped in the car, car exploded, kid got krispy.. bugger hey. I feel for the taxi driver who prolly won't work again..
