Be careful with Envi because they're stopping Envi production in March. I got the last auto Envi with Premium sound in Australia that has been built (comes next Monday), so you'll be very lucky to get it in time. Works out awesome if your organisation has FBT exemption (I work for the Ambulance service), so it's fleet discount + FBT exempt + GST exempt + before income tax and I also get insurance for $900/year which would've been $3800 a year privately because I'm 19.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I dont understand how you can get a T for 36K on road, that's sounds dodgy to me.I got a $6600 fleet discount thru my company, and still paid $45K as per my sig.You got a bargain. GST Exempt - I wish <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Call an ACT dealer and say you work for the ACT Government and ask for what the fleet discount would be if you were to go through Rhodium. It's set pricing across all dealers. I went to 1 dealer and they quoted me, went to another and they said 'it's the same with all of the dealers'. -------------------------Type of Vehicle: Ford Falcon XR6 BA II Sedan Auto 4.0 VCT TurboPackage Cost: * $10,118.86 per annumFBT Estimate: * $0.00Total Cost: $10,118.86Lease cost per fortnight ( /26) (A): $389.19Subtract GST component: $350.27(TOT)Cost of Vehicle © /fortnight: # $267.19* NB: Package includes registration, comprehensive insurance, 3rd party personal insurance, all scheduled maintenance and servicing, 4x tyres per 24 month period.# NB: Cost of Vehicle includes applicable income tax deductions based on your position.-------------------------So there it all is. So it's $40475.44 but that includes 8 new tyres, scheduled servicing etc as it says. I can't remember the exact pricing, but the premium sound was about $700, wheels were $1200, tint was $300, premium paint (envi) was about $250 I have the pricing somewhere but I cannot find it. That price includes all dealer delivery etc as well as it includes redundancy protection and is 'Purchase Stamp Duty Exempt'.Once I find the piece of paper with all of the details, I'll post a breakdown of exact costing. The fleet company my company uses is entititled to approx $11000 discount.

Thanks to all for the replies earlier, but now I need you once more.I have been travelling around checking out the dealers for a T matching the details in my original post. I have now been to about 8 dealers today and only seen ONE T, plenty of std XR6s but hardly any Ts. So... the question is, has anyone seen a nice slightly used T in their local yard in the last coupla weeks that I might be able to head down and have a look at?You guys might be able to save me some driving...CheersFludey

Grass Donating Members 447 Member For: 20y 8m 23d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 25/04/05 04:04 AM Share Posted 25/04/05 04:04 AM You don't need to be a fleet purchaser to utilise the 'buying power' of a fleet company, as long as it's a company-backed purchase, ie. novated lease, CHP, chattel mortgage etc.I got about 7% off RRP with my 'phoon thanks to the fleet company I used - basically dealer charges, stamp duty and rego paid for. It can get a bit messy sometimes though, especially if there are delivery complications. I had a little trouble (look at old threads in the Typhoon forum...) and it can be nasty dealing with the fleet co AND a dealer (or two dealers...) when something goes wrong.Looking back, I have my car now and I saved some money; it's all good. PM me if you want the name of the fleet guy I dealt with.Gee that's impressive. I keep getting told FORD will not give ANY Discounts on the FPV's as they wish to keep the re-sale value of them high....Same deal from my Fleet company, no discount of FPV....Can you give any hints as to who your fleet company is ?
