Got some 19s today and it looks like it can do with a bit of lowering.

I did a search and reading through all the results found that SL fronts and SSL rear King springs is what members are doing.

As Ive got a 'tricky' driveway, I was hoping that someone with this combo can provide centre cap to wheel arch measurements for the front and rear so I can see if I can go the same heights and avoid scraping. Anyone?

How about alternatives to the King springs?

Recommended places to supply and fit in Sydney?

Regards,

Max

I've got King's SL's front and SSL's in the rear and the measurement between the centre cap and the guard is approx 345mm front and rear. This is only a guide line and may vary depending on the vehicle.

Max,

How much did it raise the car ?

The reason I ask is I need to raise my car as I scrape going into my driveway with 17" and stock suspension, but I need to go up about 15mm and some 19" sound better than new springs.

I'm really biting my tounge here Mal :spoton:

From memory, the last time I saw Mick's T (or anyone's seen Micks T) he had about the same ride height as a standard car with 19's and king springs.

Might be the answer to you're question :)

Thanks Cro,

I know what happend last time I mentioned Raising the T, but my fat arse has caused the sprins to sag more, so my car really scrapes bad. :spoton:

I need to get something done about it....and jackhammering my driveway is not an option, as has been suggested in the past :ermm:

I just need 10-15mm, and my wife knows that all I need is new springs....I did try to ask for Koni's, anti roll bars and new stiffer springs, but she is one smart chick and said NO CHANCE. :spoton:

The 19's havent raised it at all from the 17's. Ive got 245/35 on the front and 275/30 on the rear.

IMO the bigger wheel and smaller tyre accentuates the height of the wheel arch which therefore needs to drop a bit.
