Guest Guests Posted 09/04/03 10:06 PM Share Posted 09/04/03 10:06 PM Just looked at my loom , no such luck, even poped the glove box down, could see all the looms , and where the light should go but no socket . Even looked under the tape! Must be luck of the draw.

Guest Trex XR Guests Posted 10/04/03 02:32 AM Share Posted 10/04/03 02:32 AM I know nothing at all about lighting, so this may be a dumb question. Would a LED fit in the socket? If so, any particular spec to ask for? Blue or red would look nuts...Oh, and are these on all the time? or only at night? or only when the door is open? cheers LED's are polarity consious and the high intensity ones require 3.6 Volts Approx, any more and they will burnout. What you need to do is put a drop down resistor in series and you can then use the LED.If you require anymore info then email me and I'll provide the necessary info......But yes it can be done, same as the park lights can be modified. I did it to my last car.

My neighbours youngest having just got her learners permit told me the "T" would look a lot better with a neon under it, (the doctor says she'll be able to be released from intensive care next week.) Maybe the utes dont have the wiring or sockets in place and the sedans do, or vice versa.
