For those interested in the specifications of the car (No other mods allowed).

2003 BA Mark 1 XR6 Turbo

MoTeC M800 ecu

Bilstien tripple adjustable shock absorbers (fast bump,  slow bump,  rebound)

We are controlled to only run .6 bar of boost

Spring rates to suit individual race tracks

Yokohama Road Legal control tyre

Minimum weight 1735kg

For those of you wondering the brakes are 100% base model standard  (apart from pad material),  this means the brakes are required to do 18 laps of Wakefield Park in a 1 minute 10 sec lap time.  Very character building.

what sort of rear wheel power is it making and what sort of pads do you use??

good luck and I look forward to seeing the results...

Dave.

geez Nick, you can go around Wakefield in 1min10sec in a virtual production car??? Those Yokos must be damn good. Where can I get some please? Are they available in 18"?

I'm going to try to get up to Wakefield on Sunday so might see you there.

Sorry I couldn't get up to Wakefield today Nick to watch you come through the field again.

However it was great to meet and chat with you yesterday. It was even better watching your charge through the field after the second corner incident. Fastest lap until right near the end when the Honda put in a screamer.

For everyone who missed out on going over the weekend DON'T DO IT AGAIN! These cars are great to watch and the competition between the XR6Ts, XR8 and SS was very close. Not to mention the little Honda screaming around the track at 9000rpm. Sounded like an angry insect compared to the real cars

The SS sounded awesum I hate to admit.

I'm keenly awaiting the results from today's races Nick and I'm really sorry I missed it today.

Cheers mate and thanks again for your time in chatting with us on Sat.

Jeff.
