G'day guys, just wondering if anyone has an XR with a bullbar or knows of any manufacturers that make a good one that looks good. I know Team Poly make the Smart Bar which looks alright but is there any better? Not really looking foward to putting one on but I live in the bush and its just a necessity. Pesky roos and cops always getting in the way. Cheers, any help/ advice would be appreciated.

You would need to make sure it's compatible with the air bag system though - otherwise you could kiss your insurance goodbye regardless of the potential savings when it comes to mowing down the wildlife.

One thing to remember, on the turbo's the front mount intercooler gets in the way of the brackets. You will find all bull bar manufacturers will make a bullbar/nudge bar for the XR6 & XR8 but not the XR6Turbo.

That being said, a member on this forum has modified the brackets to fit around the intercooler. So I now have a nudge bar fitted.

Yeah right - how the I <3 Bananas could that be air bag compliant?

All it needs now is a few rum pig stickers on the back window, some CAT mudflaps and half a dozen aerials and you'll have a proper B&S machine!

PS: or you could always get a granny bar like another popular forum member!

EDIT: oops he already beat me to it
