Does it look like a truck? or does it look sweet Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/15847-18s-on-xr6-turbo/ Share on other sites

Guest jteale Guests Posted 21/02/05 10:17 AM Share Posted 21/02/05 10:17 AM To be honest ... I personally think the standard 18" look much better than the stock 17" with standard suspension (just fills the guards a little more) ... but lowered cars look very cool as well Cheers, Jason. When driving along, the 18's look stunning. I always try to have a look if I'm driving past a shiny car or reflective window. My car is not lowered. Here's some pics of my car so you can see for yourself. (Sorry, it's too hard to hang out the window and take pics while driving! ) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/15847-18s-on-xr6-turbo/#findComment-222551 Share on other sites

Guest matt&leisa Guests Posted 22/02/05 09:16 AM Share Posted 22/02/05 09:16 AM Just a quick note, the 18inch wheels may look like they fill the guards more but the facts are that the total rolling diameter is the same as the 17 inch package.(that is that the 17inch package uses 235/45r17 and the 18inch 235/40r18) if you want to fill the guard more you will need to fit 19inch package like I am about to. this is using 245/35r19 , just remember that this will slightly change the speedo.Matt. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/15847-18s-on-xr6-turbo/#findComment-222891 Share on other sites
