But I promise I will be doing it for sure, most likely one night next week or the weekend after next. Will let you know how I go, have done similar mods/repairs many times before, o I will probably tackle it in my spare time at work before the weekend anyways, will let you know how I go & provide some pics also. cqae Member 229 Member For: 21y 7m 13d Posted 25/10/04 07:49 AM Share Posted 25/10/04 07:49 AM ok all you melbourne guys & girls. I finally got around to doing my ute, so I will post you some pics tonight. Am waiting until it gets dark. Just so you know I went about it slightly different to what I had seen in this forum. I basically soldered a resistor to each led & mounted 2 per switch on the pcb using all smd components. They are powered from the supply the switches run off so are on when ever the switches are active. I dont see a problem as leds last for probably longer than the car will! Also during the day you dont even see them, at night they are good, will take some pics to show you guys. only did drivers door, but passenger door will be easier & can use one resitor for to leds. anyways anyone interested let me know, I have to work out how much I want to do this job, it took a little longer than expected Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/1583-blue-window-switches/page/29/#findComment-179580 Share on other sites
