My car has cosmetic mods that effect the way the car performs in an accident (nudge bar & lights) and also a couple of driving offences late 2003. They know about everything.

You're better off telling them everything because they are not obliged to pay out if you make a claim (read the fine print)

If they find out ANYTHING that is not disclosed, kiss your money goodbye.

:spoton: If you do not give them all the correct information you are giving them money for nothing. Do give them a chance to refuse your claim, honesty is the best policy.

I think it depends on the mod whether I'd tell the insurance company. Like if you've got a bigger fuel pump, injectors, cams and a custom edit then I wouldn't. But something like an exhaust, cooler, lowered etc then those sorts of things just can't be missed when it comes to assesing.

Where is the option, I'm under 25 and I'm a nominated driver of the car also the car is a company car?

All of the above is what I told my insurance company just to get the insurance down I'm infact 23 and the only one who drives the car! The car was bought as a tax write off (and love at 1st sight) but the only company work the T has done is drive my lazy ass to the pub for beer after work!
