I would recommend to anyone to go to a real tyre place periodically to get a balance and alignment done. It'll be the best $70 you ever spend, not only for the immediate improvement in drivability but also in the potential savings in replacing tyres sooner than required.Trent. This means that when you corner hard, the wheel get's pushed towards vertical - making more of the tyre contact the road.Hence, when driving in a straight line, negative camber wears the INSIDE of the tyre.From factory, most XRs have somewhere between 0.25 - 1.0 degrees negative camber. Camber kits are usually purchased to achieve MORE not LESS camber. My fronts wear pretty slow, but by the time my inside rears are on the tread wear indicator, the outside rear still has 5mm to go!But hey, I get endless tyres with my car, so who am I to complain? Every 9000km I just grab a new set of rears! Unless you are reading about injector output on this forum in which case you go round and round in circles. I put a camber kit on a VT I had for five years which was running 17's and it fixed the problem. Can only speak from my own personal experiences. VT's had a real problem with negative camber.
