Goobz Member 746 Member For: 20y 5m 25d Location: Sutherland Shire, Sydney Posted 19/02/05 06:46 AM Share Posted 19/02/05 06:46 AM I have been opening the bonnet of my T every weekend for the last few weeks, only to find that the overflow bottle is empty. Only thing is I have never seen a puddle under the car. Could this be that I have a blown head gasket? Or even worse a cracked water jacket? Could someone please help?ThanksChris

Chris<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Not always. It may only leak under high pressure - ie when you are accelerating. By the time you get back and park there may be little or nothing to drip.I had the same situation. A couple of drops on the car park spot but that's all. Otherwise no signs.
