Here's another couple of the Mackmobile.

One looking clean and the other a close-up of the intercooler after a losing battle with Locusts.

Hey Puf, nice "Bling bling" paint ya got there.

Being a fellow enthusiast, I had not so good results with the techwax but think it's cause I'm retarded. I wiped on, waited a minute or two til it hazed then buffed off. Should I have left the stuff on for longer as has since been suggested to me?

Also, did you polish then techwax or techwax and repeat techwax only?

Thanks for any help given :w00t2:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Not sure what puff does but when I apply techwax or any polish/wax to the car I let it sit whilst I vacume, vynil protect, leather protect, clean windows from the inside of the car which takes about 2 odd hours depending on how much detail I put into it. Then I buff the wax off, then go over the car again with a clean terry towel making sure I get every little bit off.

Pics taken the day I polished here: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15999

Hey Glen, I can tell you. I sure didn't need any laxative after trying to clean that lot off. Especially after they had baked on for a couple more days and a thousand K's. :gooff: That was 5 months ago and I'm still pulling Fried Locust from out of the engine bay...... :pooh:
