PLEASE DON"T use a bleed valve with out

getting the ECU remapped, or a new ECu all together.

Why you asked, if you boost or standard XR6t

with the ECU it will go into limp mode.

Then you'll have to take it back to the dealer.

If you were serious about boosting the power of

your Turbo, look at the Tsi thread and all the other

threads that are STICKY.

Calm down guys, a lot of us think the factory product is great how it is, and don't think it needs modifying, We also believe you could damage the drivetrain with these mods. If I had to supply a warranty for a car like this, I would definately incorporate ways of checking if mods were done come time for a warranty claim. Maybe some of the Ford guys could comment--- Harasn

I believe this thread is getting a bit out of hand. I would appreciate if people could try and stick to helping other members instead of talking rubbish. Talking crap just makes you look stupid amongst other knowledgeable people.

Try and help instead.. its much easier!

In regards to my previous, I have read that Powerchip group have a new ECU/Chip for the turbo. I think the car is boosted to 11psi giving 300kw (flywheel) and 562NM of torque. I think!!!!

my suggestion must have been usefull- thanx Mods. B)

about the bleed valve,as I said before the std ecu CAN compensate, they didn't tune the car to 100% duty cylce,

so I think a little extra boost will be ok,and it will make a difference,BUT AS I SAID RUN IT UP ON A DYNO TO CHECK

THE A/F RATIO!!! :D
