I rang up the ford dealer to see if I could order a XR6T and to see what colours he had in stock... only to find out that I would be waiting till mid march for it... I was about to hang up when he says hang on a sec, we have 1 black model here.. its got the Oct04 stamp on it..the only catch is its got tint and leather seats..cutting a long story short. I drove out of the dealer in my new T last wednesday!! its one amazing machine, and lovin every second I drive it.the only gripe I have is I cant put in an after market stereo without abusing my dash..getting the aux setup next week so I can plugin my iPod will post pics soon.. (but im sure u all know what a new Black T looks like) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/15679-new-t-on-the-block/ Share on other sites

It's such a good piece of kit because it will accept high level inputs (speaker inputs) and convert it to RCA outs. It also cleans up the sound a great deal. This will allow you to add an amp for the mids/highs, sub and also full range outputs. In my ute I'll be installing 2 pairs of Boston Acoustic SL80 (5x7" speakers to be installed in place of the factory speakers).I can then run a sub amp to my DD 12" sub via a 50 farad capacitor. If you're wanting sound quality and need to retain the original head unit, then this is the best way around it.
