Signature Colour in mk1 was Phantom, without a doubt.  This color made the T.  Blueprint ended up being as common as flies on sh*t. :w00t2:

Velocity for Mk2 for sure.

:spoton: my thoughts exactly, mk1 colours :gooff: all over mk2 colours

Sooo, you're saying that your car is like the ugly chick who needs special 'mood' lighting to look even halfway decent...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No not at all - just enhances it. Myself on the other hand - the less light the better.

Could be worse though I suppose, at least it's not a paper bag job like those festivas.

Definitely Blue Print in the first series. Yes it was very popular (in Ford country - Geelong, I counted 9 in 2 trips to the city and back!) but for a very good reason. It was an exclusive XR colour and it stood out in the distance above all other colours, you knew it was an XR before it even got close enough to be sure. I bought mine firstly because I loved the colour above all others and also because it became the colour associated with the turbo in many motor articles and advertising/ competitions and therefore into motoring history. It's Ford blue!

Unfortunately the Mark II does not have a signature colour as such, pick a colour, any colour! I love to see an XR in any colour but there isn't a colour range as high profile as there was in the Mark I (Blue Print and Phantom).

Blue Print stamped it for the current body shape and that's it!

Hang on all you Blueprint lovers, this colour was originally on the Tickfords, so it cannot be the signature colour of the MKI. Blood orange would have to be easily, but as I've said before - nothing beats black (when clean) with a tint and 18's.

I agree that mark 1 colours are much better than mark 2. Citric Acid, blood orange, and blueprint are my choice. I might get a XR6T but I have a problem. I want the 6 speed manual with a mark 1 colour.

the only colour of choice is the blood orange. I think that this is the signature colour. why you may ask and I will answer

1. the 2nd page of this website has the blood orange xr right in the middle

2. the motor mag with the phase 2 xr6t on the cover was blood orange

3. the djr 01 ford is blood orange

and the most important reason for being the signature colour is............

4. I drive one that is blood orange

so kiss my ass.

Go for it chaps  Will be interesting to see whether the newer members can spit as much venom and humour as the pale Ole timers .... Do I hear the padlock man  Think I will sit this one out if its all the same to you guys, being a bit battle weary and all. Only so many colour wars can you handle before ya fall on your sword

Soooooo, basically Julian your saying Team Winter White Destruction is just a big bunch of girly-girl-girls that cant even hack it with Team HGhey and Spewprint

Understandable that you'd not want to enter into a debate if you KNOW your colour is the uncoolest

Good call, better to be an untarnished distant third (or whatever) rather than a bruised winner... :o

Luv Ya's All,

Lumpen Stir-a-lot-of-sh*t :spit:

Hey....

HEY!

WHAT'S THAT MAN DOING WITH THAT BLOODY PADLOCK! :o

Keep it coming Lumpy Boy, Team WW does not need to justify our colour choice like some others, we know we are the dominate colour, we know all about the best looking colour on the T, you will learn to accept this
