ROFL This beats fishing.

More bites than I get throwing the line out the back!!!!!

Answer me this, why have I never seen coppers with cameras/laser/radar in school zones, but see them on the same road where it's 60 klm/h and the widest/safest part of the road?

One word "REVENUE"

that's the sort of attitude that gives police their reputation in the first place.

Good Q Russ. Actually a real joke here at the moment. We have those billboards on the side of the road all the way down the south coast for the last couple of weeks proclaiming police targeting "speeding in school zones". HAHAHAHA, there hasn't been ONE police car anywhere near ANY of the 7 school zones in my town for the entire time!!! I wish they'd get serious with these zones -just whacking up the sign doesn't slow many down below 60 to 70. I saw a kid nearly get hit just this afternoon AND AT A MARKED CROSSING IN THE 40 ZONE RIGHT AT THE SCHOOL GATES!!!!!

What do you expect.......I am sick and tired of this whingeing and sniping and I have ben far far more tolerant that a lot of the other Police that post on this board.

How do you think we get this negative attitude to people like this in the first place......it comes down to being sick of hearing the whining and the refusal to accept responsibility for being caught.

I've had 17 years of whingeing, whining and moaning and pricks like you lot just reinforce it.

Do something constructive about it....if you don;t like the ticket have the matter heard at Court. If you think the cars aren't being deployed where they should be, run for Parliament and make a change as the Transport Minister. Ask the Traffic Commander to show why cars are being deployed where they are. Ask the Police Minister to justify the deloyment of vehicles at particular areas.

You won't change anything by sh*tcanning Police that provide answers for questions, such as the one that started this post. The post degenerated into a cop bashing exercise after the Dux of f*ckwit school decided to change the theme of the original post.

However, if you're like most Australians, content to whinge and whine but never do anything constructive to change things, then go back to swimming in the bottom of the gene pool and continue to bump your head into the rocks down there.

My concious is clear, I have done heaps of constructive things to bring the focus of traffic enforcement away from speed back to fundamentals. I got removed from the Highway Patrol and am subject to disciplinary action but at least I tried. All because I was getting results, but not the results that the Govt. demand.

I don't even know why I bothered.............
