SS inductions CAI IMHO is overpriced poorly put together and bloody deflectors divert all the cold air away from the radiator :w00t2: Engine temp has decreased noticeably since the Phase 2 went on and the SS went to another home :pinch:

I fitted the SS inductions kit with K&N filter. Yes it is highly priced but each to his own. I love the look of the intake when you open up the bonnet, it's intake area is huge and it does look better than any other system, more factory than the crapy factory unit. I can't see any difference in engine temp/ excessive fan use etc with both deflectors fitted running in hot conditions with air con on (1500kms since fitted). SS inductions have extensively tested the unit in their "T" with no adverse effects at all. Can't say if I've noticed any fuel consumption benefits but because I don't drive it every day I get carried away with it when I do! Air intake sound from under bonnet when on full noise is great, power seems to have noticeably picked up. For me it was worth it.

Im with you on that. I did the throttle body and exhaust at the same time as well and have noticed exactly the same and I reckon its worth it as well.

Ive noticed no temp rise either. If I had I would have taken it out.

I did mine a while ago now before some of these set ups you see now were available and I wont be changing it.

My dealer modifys new Turbos and V8s with the same set up before on selling. (Mine was the first they did, think it was the first in NZ)

As you say each to there own on this and it worked for me. :spoton:
