Even smaller ones which will do the job, and a few stocked no name brands. In one of the links, there's an ARC core for about $450 which looks like it'll do the job on an XR6T very nicely.ARC are on of the top brands and a biggun will set you back $3k+Shop around and even a 2nd hand one in good condition will save big $$.Wise man once said" nothin says tough like a big *beep* off core hangin out the front bar " I tend to agree..The japs perfected turbo, it may be rice, but it's cheap and good for you. Here's my fave.. 130mm thick Trust drag cooler... Pure goodness...... Edited 09/02/05 10:45 AM by XRT UTE

You will have more o2 in the cylinders and be able to squirt more fuel in there, hence, have more power..same power, less boost.. same boost, more power.Or, Like Turbo6 said, heat soak won't become a problem, and more reliable, consistent times will evolve.Less restriction, more power. cooler air, more power. The amount of power one gets is relative as to how efficiently and quickly one can get air and fuel in and out of the engine. How much air depends on alot of factors, fuel is another issue. NOS is basically cold air. It's not flammable to the best of my knowledge..... It's a gas that makes you laugh, But if it was flammable, would the dentist let you inhale it?? Guys in dyno comps spray NOS directly on their coolers to get that air as cold as possible to make as much power as possible..
