I'm pretty sure it ran MT's.Shane, I think you'll be really struggling for traction, which will kill a good time.Brian

That is when they were having all their problems with the clutch.
F6 UTE - Track Bound EVO III - Member 3,367 Member For: 20y 21d Gender: Male Location: Strapped in and holding on Posted 19/02/07 02:14 PM Share Posted 19/02/07 02:14 PM there are 5 or 6 manual sedans that I know or that have the power to run high 10`s low 11`s they have just chosen not to set there car up for the strip as a time is not that important to them.←Lets not go there.. 'Setup' as far as I am concerned is bolting tyres on and racing. Power won't equal fast times alone, and this thread is proof of that. CV's are one factor, the fact it is actually difficult in a stick shift is the other.. Plenty of cars have power, and plenty of auto cars with power ( ie LOTS ) have tried to run quicker than 9.98 aswell. It just aint as simple as that.. There are CV's in the country now so I wouldn't expect it to take too long for the likes of Xtreme to venture to the track with half a megawatt at the wheels. This will result in fast times alone, providing it doesn't snap an input shaft or leave the diff at the line Shane, good luck with a street trim manual 11. I myself will be trying that in the not too distant future.. Tweakn - try coil bind in a ute. 3rd gear - spearing sideways with sticky tyres We aint got it all easy Gavin.K - It is harder to get the manual down, the fact that 3 utes have done it just means that real men drive utes All the quickest auto's are sedans, waddas that tell ya!!!! I am not having a go at the ute guys I think that would be a little strange for me to do that myself.....

These 20" wheels I have account for 60rwhp alone - dyno proven! But this coupled with a higher rev limit and the car's ability to make power up top should send it through the traps in 4th at a decent clip.It will be difficult Ben, I agree. But I ran my 12.3 on the factory tyres and 355rwkw's with no traction then really either. Surely it can be done.........no pressure! I might even throw a baby seat in for good measure!
