Well done Bruce and Lee, fantastic effort for manual's.

My first time round I left calder with a 13.4 @ 107, not easy particulaly with clutch slipping in 3rd and 4th.

If I can break into the 12's with a T5 I will be happy, aiming for approx 300rwkw in my next dyno tune.

Just out of interest what KW have you now got Bruce?

Lee I would suggest that with 290 odd kw and a bit of practice you will be in the 12's no probs.

Looks like I better get my act together................

It's been a while but great to see more manuals starting to get up and show some good times :glad: Hopefully more to come...

hey craig nice time, was that on street tyres or slicks, and also the manual t that did a 12.4 was street or slicks?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Both were on street tyres. Mine were Nitto NT555R's. Not sure what Bruces were.

I'm not sure how much better slicks would be though.

Geea. :spoton:

craig is that the first time you have used the nitto's

Nah I started using the Nitto's in December just after I ran the 11.999. After that run and trouble with wheel spin trying to launch hard I looked around for a street tyre that was alot stickier whilst still being a roadworth, street usable tyre. Some people actually use the Nitto's daily. They apparently are good for 12-15000km's. If they came in 19's I would definately look at getting some for my car for use all the time.

Well if you take the rule of thumb that 1/10th over the first 60ft is worth 3/10ths to the ET then that puts Craig at about 11.02 with a 1.60 flat 60ft time.

Getting that 60ft without extra grunt though might not be easy, the C&V car had 4mph over Craigs time.

It will be interesting to see what happens come winter.  I am sure there are others in the wings expecting to break 10's come winter.

so true I piched up 1.5 tenths on the 60 foot and gained 5 tenths at the line :spoton:

Great news. I did a 12.9 with 2.459 60ft@118mph. Fist time mind you :spoton:

When I get this auto fix and use 17s it will be interesting to see what happens

Great times everyone .... :glad:

One thing that I cant seem to work out is why do the autos move a touch quicker than the manuals :pinch:

Ive always driven manual cars and am only a couple of weeks from buying my T and its making me wonder, isnt the manual a little better resistant to damage when moding too :ermm:

It really has made me re think my auto is for girls who dont know what to do with the a stick mentality :o

I never know what to do with my hand and left foot when I drive my bros car which is auto :w00t2:
