Unbelieveable! :msm:

You can stop now Craig,

Really you can. :msm:

Sorry I have not been around mate to see and hear about it all, if it's worth anything I came 4th out of 33 riders on the weekend, 340k's over the 2 days and only a broken knuckle! :msm:

Now just gotta finalise getting the T quicker and into the 12sec club.

Mate, congrats again, and I would be very interested in doing a Vic Roadshow to SA, then............................We can show the rest of the Nation how a dominate state of quick T's live!! :glad:

is anyone running 3.73 gears and would it be a good thing by my calculations you would need to change into 4th gear.3rd gear@5800rpm is about 117mph a little bit short of the 120mph+ needed.would the better aceleration early on out weight the extra gear change?the standard diff ratio in 3rd gear is good for 127mph.

With as much HP as Craig has, with that diff ratio I would think he would blow the tyres off, necessitating slicks.

I was all set to change to the 3.73 ratios last year but Peter from APS raised the same concerns that the early aceleration would be negated by the extra gear change late in the run.

4th gear isn't very strong either from what I have been told.

thx for the info dean.I can see my car benefiting from it at the moment but if I was to go to stage111 I would have to change it back to 3.45,s

lower the diff gear = less wheel spin as the car gets "on top" of the tyre easier & earlier.
