I dont think we get deducted the demerit points being from a different state - we just pay the fine and that's it. I got a speeding fine last tassie trip and didnt get any points taken away...which is nice seeing as though I dont have many points left :nono:

The rumours are true, the DVD is complete and will soon be on it's way to the Tassie MkII crew. :spoton:

Hope you enjoy, and please forgive my first attempt at publishing a DVD.

Just thought I'd add a couple of comments about the Tassie trip and My Preciousssss .... :pooh:

Bridgestone Potenza GIII's + XR6 Premium Brakes + Tassie Targa roads = A boner a cat couldn't scratch! :k24t:

My 2 week jaunt around Tassie, sometimes at high speeds, most times at hard cornering and hard acceleration, was unhindered by any uncertainty about My Preciousss's road handling or stopping behaviour.

Serveral times I believed that the car was going to "let go", but time after time, she sat like a brick super-glued to the tarmac. Towards the end, I was wondering what I had to do to make her let go.

The only 2 times the rubber did leave the road was once on a patch of black ice at $0.10 and the other at $1.80 over a hump in the road. :gooff:

I've clocked up ~ 20k on the rubber now and I noticed yesterday (in the wet) that the back end did come adrift at a round-about. So maybe they're not the best wearing tyres, but for the first 20 or so, they're unstoppable! :sleepystuff:

Hay ken you forgot the bit about for the first 2 days (with your wizz bang tyres + wizz bang "blakes") that you had trouble even keeping up, not even close enough to pass me.

And for the other 12 days or so you was chasing a purple ute that you never even looked close at getting past, so what about those few little things, forgot about those did we.

And as for the boner thing :spit: (small) inside info :spoton:
