Well what a trip ! 5700 kms - 693 litres of fuel. Awesome Tassie roads - 6 great cars - incredible scenery. But the best part was the great mateship from all you guys that we travelled with.

Stuey, Catherine and family You might be a Gorilla in the mist to others, but we will never look at a "slippery when wet" sign the same again. It was a pleasure to have Catherine and the kids with us for the weeekend. It gave us kiddy sick parents a much needed fix. PS. Thanks for converting me to Boags!

Jeff Thanks for being our tour guide with the mostest. After giving JB the flick you didn't get us lost once. You know Leah was your biggest fan when you said " I aint lettin no crappy Expensive Daewoo ute get by me ". :glad:

Cain Your youthful enthusiam was a welcome addition to the ROFS (Really old farts) that were on tour. Your crack about the "limp mode" was priceless.

Ken I will never look at an episode of the Simpsons in the same light again. :spoton: You are so quick witted on the CB that you had us laughing around most of Tassie. A cruise without "Boyley" would not be the same.

Lea A lot of Ken has rubbed off on you (I spose 30 years marriage would do that). Your calls on the radio were perfect - even with the expletives involved. When you find out how to remove the "Boyle on my front and the Fraggle on my arse", let me know.

Hung You were the quite acheiver on the trip. You have planted ideas in Leah's head on shopping, massages and winning money. Hang on - maybe that's not a good thing :nono:

JB Thanks for organising a sensational holiday - the homework you did was greatly appreciated. With the exception of "Faulty Towers" the accomodation was great. Leah also appreciated the medicinal qualities of DR JB. Next time we share a kart, I'm sure we can tweak it for a bit more grunt. I can just imagine the trip home on the boat "Hey Boyley - wanna see me clear the poop deck" :glad:

And finally to my wife Leah who surprised me to the point of berating me for not cutting a corner. Although she missed the kids terribly and hated the boat crossings, I'm sure she will remember her time in Tassie favourably. No doubt made all the better from the company of you all :glad:

Best holiday I've ever had and with the best people too :beerchug:

9 people in each others face everyday and not to have one arguement or any bitchiness says it all for the quality of persons who attended...I take my hat off to each and everyone of you

Special thanks to Badger and Fraggle for showing us new roads and giving all the great info on Tassie...between these two theres not much more you need to know

Also great to have Fraggles family along on the weekends  and better behaved tinlids you will not find :spoton: .

Was also great to see Steggles,Josh and Derri on the weekend in Hobart...just added to the pleasure of the trip :spoton:

Best roads IMO were the Weldborough Pass,Hellyers Gorge and Eagleneck Pass in the snow  Never went on a bad road in the whole 2 weeks

Have to give a big wrap to Tilford Ford in Hobart...machined my brakes and put in new pads at no charge even though I showed up at 1pm on a Friday...Great effort and much appreciated

To each and all who made the trip,I thank you for making it such an enjoyable trip

Also it was great to meet up with the Tas Tickford club and thanks for putting on the bb-q..a great day was had by all :spoton:

God dammit! Waiting this long for the next trip is gonna suck!

JB, good to hear that the local Ford boys looked after you so well. It's a pity that sort of service is so hard to find on the mainland.

Hmmmm... the lease on my "Black Beast" ends three weeks before next year's planned trip. If I decide to upgrade (doubtful, but you never know), I'll have a great time breaking in a new baby down there... :nono:

The DVD is almost complete! We've decided to make it into 2 dvd's - 1 that will play in the dvd player that's all flash n stuff...and the other of just the files so ppl can have the raw data. Ken will post when its complete.

Personally I rather like the main menu movie....
